Now, I'm not a rocket expert but-- I would have thought that the majority force in the balloon example is the air getting forced out of the balloon by the balloon's want to return to not inflated, (squeeze) blowing air out instead of a pressure difference. Air also doesn't like vacuums, so it squeezes into the gap and the cycle repeats (but smooth.) In a rocket engine, the gasses in the combustion chamber want to expand above all else and the way they do that is through the nozzle-hence the blowing effect.

You can literally watch a rocket launch with your own eyeballs and some binoculars. The rocket launches, builds speed, the exhaust plume gradually expands and eventually disappears. This is indicative of atmospheric pressure having less and less influence on the exhausts shape. So, that observation confirms the rocket travels to an environment with practically zero air pressure. Further observation reveals that the rocket is still moving and in fact building even more speed. This continues until line of sight is removed by either air particulate or horizon occlusion. No fancy lab coat or math equations required. Thrust comes from throwing as much mass as quickly as possible in the opposite direction you wish to travel. Period.

My bet is none of the flat-earthers will come and they will as usual claim all evidence collected in their absence is fake...

Talking about shadows before showing stadium footage, you've conditioned viewers to pay special attention to those shadows. It's a nice touch. I for one can't stop looking at them now.

The stupidity of people that believe in a flat Earth concerns me. Reminds me of the thought experiment of, "Think of how stupid the average person is. Now realize, half of the population (about 4 billion people) are less intelligent than that." You could have broken down the claims even more simply than you did. Regarding the claim "you need oxygen in order for fuel to to burn and there is no oxygen in space," all you had to say was (1) no, you need an oxidizer for fuel to burn. Oxygen is only one of several oxidizers that can be used, and (2) rockets can carry with them a supply of oxygen (or other oxidizers) in just like they can carry a supply of fuel with them. But all that is besides the point. Explaining why they are wrong, to flat earthers, shows that you have a lack of self-respect. Flat earthers do not want to hear the facts. They do not want to know the truth. You are showing that you have chosen to work hard to educate people *who do not want to be educated* and who do not appreciate your efforts to educate them and who are laughing at how hard they are getting you to explain things to their silly faces, when instead you could have chosen to work hard to educate people who _want_ to be educated, and who _appreciate_ your efforts your efforts to educate them. Some people think flat earthers are dumb-asses. Maybe it is the people who want to educate flat-earthers who are the _real_ dumb-asses?

The basis for most flat earth belief in the western world is an interpretation of the bible. You fundamentally cannot convince these people with reason. They hold divine revelation as their number one source of truth.

Antarctica can not disprove every flat Earth model. Pac-Man Earth is a square flat Earth with two poles that the sun and moon both rotate around. In other words, the paths are the same on the Pac-Man world as the globe model. What you can't dispute is laser tests over flat Earth surfaces revealing that no curvature is detectable. Lying about the vanishing and where boats go when they enter into it doesn't explain why no curvature can be detected over salt flats and large lakes. There are dozens of irrefutable tests showing no curvature where curvature should be.

It's easy to theorize conspiracies. You just state your beliefs and then fit evidence to support those beliefs. Science is way too hard. You have to try to disprove the hypothesis with hard work like experimentation and recording precise observations. Way too much work.

An example I like for the third law of motion is throwing a heavy bowling ball while sitting on a swivel chair. It’s why you’ll move backwards. A bit of a silly extension, but you could think of a rocket as throwing massive amounts of tiny bowling balls (fuel) downwards.

Why does everyone care so much if someone thinks the earth is flat? People are entitled to have a different opinions and views. Why not get angry with "scientists" when they have to completely change a theory? It happens all the time. Next people will attack others that believe in Christ. These people actually don't care if the moon even exists. What they do care about is the attention they get that feeds their hubris. Like I've commented before, it's all psychological.
